Ride Inspector
Recreation Engineering, LLC (REI) – Flexible Location I Travel
Recreation Engineering, LLC is seeking a Ride Inspector to conduct hands-on safety and maintenance inspections of amusement rides, water attractions, and entertainment facilities nationwide. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, enjoy travel, and have a keen interest in amusement parks and ride systems.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect amusement rides and attractions for safety, maintenance, and code compliance
- Evaluate ride mechanisms, structures, platforms, fencing, queues, and safety systems
- Document findings and work alongside experienced engineers and inspectors
- Join the team as we travel extensively to parks, resorts, and entertainment venues to ensure safety and fun
What We’re Looking For
- 1–5 years in the amusement industry or a related mechanical/technical field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working around equipment
- High travel availability (20-30 weeks per year)
- Passion for rides, parks, and the entertainment industry
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Bonus (Not Required)
- AIMS or NAARSO certifications
- Mechanical, maintenance, welding, or NDT inspection background
Pay & Perks
- $40,000–$65,000 starting, based on experience
- Travel, field-based work
- Flexible home location when not traveling
