BART MUELLER
Bart Mueller is an Inspection Specialist for Recreation Engineering Inc. While a trained amusement ride inspector Bart’s specialty is entertainment theatrical rigging. He started in the entertainment industry in 1999 working backstage as a theatre technician. Since then Bart has worked for numerous different venues for theatre. His last few notable positions are Cirque du Soleil Mystere as a Rigging/Automation Technician and MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Bart earned M.F.A & B.A. degrees in Theatre Technology from University of Nevada at Las Vegas and Plymouth State University respectively. He also currently has many industry certifications including Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP) Certified Rigger - Theatre, National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials (NAARSO) level I, Amusement Industry Manufacturers and Suppliers International (AIMS) Certified Maintenance Technician Level I, Certified Operations Technician Level I and Certified Aquatics Operations Technician Level I. Furthermore he is trained in ASNT Nondestructive testing as a Visual Testing Level II and Magnetic Particle Testing Level II. Bart is presently listed with Clark County Nevada as well as the City of Las Vegas. He is also approved in the state of Florida as an Authorized Amusement Devices and Amusement Attractions Inspector.
Bart continues to support the Amusement and Entertainment industries by contributing to ASTM and PLASA standards.
